Race report - Craigavon 26th September 2009  27/09/2009

Another day of beautiful weather in Craigavon!

With a good turn out again of 20drivers, including 2 new drivers, it was going to be good.

After qualifying the order was:

1st - Cormac Wyatt

2nd - Robert Charters

3rd - David Cairns

4th - Michael Sloan

5th - Stephen Smyth

6th - Phillip Cairns

7th - Ashley Patterson

8th - Tom Patterson

The main final dealt out its few suprises. Generally a good start from all. Cormac & Robert getting away smoothly staying in 1st and 2nd. The first to drop out was Phillip Cairns on lap 13.

One of the big suprises was Tom Patterson, who started 8th and managed to finish in 3rd! Fantastic result for him. Well done Tom.

Cormac did one of the things he was not expecting. After losing slight concentration and having a small brake problem while adjusting them after about 20mins, on the 80th lap he set a lap record of 19.14secs.

Overall the finishing positions were:

2nd - Robert Charters

3rd - Tom Patterson

4th - David Cairns

5th - Stephen Smyth

6th - Ashley Patterson

7th - Michael Sloan

8th - Phillip Cairns
