Race report - Craigavon Winter Series Round 2, Dec 12th 2009  13/12/2009

Winter Series Round 2.

The weather was very much the same as Round 1. We were lucky not to get any rain but the track didn't really dry up all day due to the cold weather.

We were trying the GRP Wets for the first time. After the 1st Round of qualifying it was clear that they were working brilliantly. Not being 100% sure whether they were actually better than the PMT Wets we did a back to back test in the 2nd Round of qualifying. There was a noticeble difference and the GRp's were between 1 and 1 and a half seconds faster than the PMT's. Clear result.

After the 3 Rounds of qualifying i was 1st overall.

Int he final i really didn't have any competition. My aim was to try to be as consistend as possible and hit all the apex's. I really think the practice is paying off and i can feel myself being that little bit smoother. Who know's.
